This month, I want to speak from my heart to yours regarding what is on the horizon for Murfreesboro Rescue Mission.
We have two huge challenges coming up.
First, even with Covid still lingering, we anticipate hosting 750 plus individual nightly stays this cold season. This has already been a unique year and adding on a pandemic will only increase the importance of shelter during freezing temperatures.
Second, MRM is entering a two-phase, two-year campaign to raise money for property and the building of a new facility to serve our community’s homeless population. MRM has identified property to purchase and is seeking your help. The purchase price is 350 thousand dollars to buy property for the new facility.
Please prayerfully consider a meaningful gift for phase 1 of this project, and please pray about what you can do to help us provide lifesaving services during extreme cold temperatures this season. I look forward to giving you updates as we move forward.
