"Quality resources for free helped me when I needed them most—when I wanted to learn and hardly had any money.
I started using MIT OCW 15 years back. Back then, I could not afford a quality education and that’s when I discovered MIT OCW. Now being in a well paid job and having access to a lot of resources, I still feel the quality of MIT OCW is better than most other resources which are [mostly] paid. MIT OCW has played a major role in shaping my career as a data scientist.
Thanks MIT OCW—you are making a great impact in people's lives!"
-Raja, independent learner, India
Dear John, All learners deserve access to a high-quality education. At OCW we believe the chance to learn shouldn’t be out of reach because of cost, circumstance, or academic credentials. We are heartened by the stories of learners like Raja who found OCW when they needed it most, and continue to use it today. That’s why OCW works to share MIT’s teaching and knowledge freely and openly, for whoever needs it. We need donations to help support this work. If you’re able, please give to OCW and help us continue serving learners around the world. We appreciate everyone who has supported us this far and helped give back to OCW. Sincerely, Krishna Krishna Rajagopal Dean for Digital Learning, Open Learning William A. M. Burden Professor of Physics MIT
