Alabama is home to some of the best food in America, and it’s not even up for debate. With that in mind, here’s our love letter to Alabama’s food, written and read by the legendary food writer Bob Carlton.
It shines a light on everything there is to love about Alabama food -- from the beloved brands and dishes that were born here to the notable chefs and restaurants that have gained our state national recognition and more -- and serves as a reminder that Alabama really is a place that keeps, as Bob says, "our plates full, and our souls nourished."
