ECPAT Germany e.V.
Showing the flag with the new banner #GemeinsamfürKinderschutz
ECPAT
ECPAT Germany has been working to protect children from sexual exploitation for almost 20 years. Together with partners from politics, business, law enforcement and civil society, ECPAT promotes child protection through awareness-raising and training. Because only together can children be better protected.

Three new online banners have now been developed to draw attention to sexual exploitation of children and young people worldwide. Companies in the travel and tourism industry as well as organizations and institutions can use these banners to sensitize their travelers to the issue and to win them as supporters.

ITB is actively committed to creating awareness for Human Rights in Tourism. Child Protection is an important part of it. ITB Berlin & ITB Asia have signed the Code of Conduct against sexual exploitation of children since many years and support the important work of ECPAT & The Code sponsoring their ITB trade show participance. ITB’s Commissioner for CSR had continously served on the Board of Directors of The Code International and carries the message with her wherever she travels to.
