Twenty-two-year-old Keris Riebel was killed on New Year’s Day by a man wielding a machete as she worked in an Ohio Dollar Tree store. The suspect, identified as Bethel Bekele, approached Riebel and struck her numerous times with the weapon, according to police. When officers arrived on scene, Riebel had already passed away. They proceeded to search the area for the suspect, who had fled the scene.
