Interviewing is a lot like dating. When two people agree to go for dinner or watch a movie, itās because they find each other desirable.
Chemistry is key.Ā
Interviewers want to hire a candidate who can fit in with the team, connect well with their company culture. Some of them following old rules. You shouldnāt have a limp handshake. You should be proactive and be able to showcase yourself and form a positive image.
"According to a lot of recruiters, itās not enough for job seekers to highlight their talents, knowledge, and expertise."
"They must be able to generate chemistry and unite with the interviewer."

Companies are looking for speed, cost, and quality when it comes to hiring. But recruiting is not easy. And slow number of time/hire, high costs of getting people on board and poor candidate quality - can ruin even a good project.

While at the higher end of the spectrum, skilled tech workers have resorted to using gig websites such as Upwork and their ilk to find work, others continue to decry the predatory practices of such gig websites.Ā
So, if you're looking for a stable job, don't think that you're alone. For every would-be-freelancer looking to emigrate to Bali and work remotely, there are ten others who just want a regular 9-5.
