| Regional accreditation body lifts Benedict College probation The school had been placed on a 12-month probation stemming from financial concerns by the Southern Association of Colleges and Schools Commission on Colleges. The commission found Benedict in compliance during its annual board meeting. Southeastern Institute now Southeastern College The nationally accredited, private network of career colleges has campuses in Columbia and North Charleston among its five locations. Each S.C. campus added four programs in 2020. |
