Happy Sunday! π I'm elated to report that my five-year-old daughter Olivia was discharged from the hospital on Tuesday and is doing so great after recovering from a scary bout of pneumonia. The photo above was taken at last night's Toronto Raptors vs. Los Angeles Clippers game at the new (and swanky) Intuit Dome. Thank you again for all the prayers and well-wishes. βοΈMycoplasma pneumonia BTW: Mycoplasma pneumonia is going around and a few things I learned are: 1. It's contagious. 2. If a child has a high fever for more than five days, make sure they get checked. 3. If a child has a cough for more than a week, have them checked. Olivia didn't have a cough until about a week after having a high fever and her lungs sounded great in the beginning. The doctors only caught the pneumonia because they finally did a chest x-ray after all her other tests came back negative. Here's some more information from a local publication and from the The New York Times about this nasty bug that's going around.
