| Christiane Amanpour worked her way up from an entry-level assistant at CNN to reporting from the world's most terrifying conflict zones in Iraq, Afghanistan, Somalia, Rwanda, and more. The longtime face of CNN, Amanpour joined PBS last December as the interim replacement for Charlie Rose. Now it's official with Amanpour's new one-hour public affairs show Amanpour and Company, which premieres Monday, September 10, at 10pm. "I'm delighted that PBS chose a woman, a proven woman, to be able to fill in this slot," Amanpour told Daily Beast. We're equally delighted! | |
