What hobbies did you enjoy when you were 10 years old? I loved reading, riding my bike, torturing my little brothers, but food didn't much interest me. My palate consisted of chicken fingers, mac 'n' cheese and pizza — typical kid food.

Not so for the 12 kids poised to star in four new episodes of Check, Please! Bay Area.
