We've all been assuming Aaron Rogers would just magically fix whatever's been wrong with him as a QB, but should we be? Josh Hermsmeyer of FiveThirtyEight said A-Rod has only been about league average the last four years, but we broke down one big reason why that will change, along with the latest Zeke talk, all the NFL news and more.
It isn't easy to come up with a list of NFL coaches that Bill Belichick isn't on, but John Breech has done it. Any one of Belichick's six rings disqualify him from John's list, which ranks coaches by best chance of winning their first Super Bowl title in 2019. As for who did make it, Andy Reid's been knocking on the door for a long time, but is he No. 1?
After a lot of starters sat out their preseason openers, we should get our first look at many of them in Week 2, including tonight with Aaron Rodgers running Matt LaFleur's system for 'a quarter or so.' Jordan Dajani broke down the storylines for all the games (along with info on how you can watch); will Kyler Murray impress again against the Raiders?

Remember 2002? The Texans were an expansion team, Drew Brees was on the Chargers, and Tom Brady was fresh off his first Super Bowl win. Folks, that's how long it's been since the Browns were in the playoffs, but Jared Dubin says they're about to go back. Jared's got four more Browns predictions, too; Baker Mayfield would be the sixth QB ever to do this.
What good's a breakout player unless he puts up CAREER-YEAR numbers? Dave Richard identified a dozen with an ADP in Round 4 or later who could have a career season. Dave's so sure that will happen for Christian Kirk, he's wondering if Kirk might even double his 2018 output, and there's also a Jaguar who's in the right place at the right time.
The Lions seem to want a committee approach at RB, but when you've got a player who averaged 5.4 yards per carry, it might be time to ditch that plan. Injuries limited Johnson to just 10 games last season, but Dan Schneier says he'll have a top-10 finish in yards from scrimmage in 2019, and Dan's got four more bold predictions (watch out, Matt Patricia).
What could we say about Antonio Brown that would shock you? How about: Brown's getting sued for allegedly stiffing a celebrity chef out of $40K? That probably didn't do it, but even if you're suffering from A.B. overload, you definitely should get a load of the allegations in this wild story.
