Fire Extinguished at Home Near West Hollywood

lafd fire truckA fire at a vacant two-story home near West Hollywood was extinguished in under 20 minutes Thursday. Firefighters responded at to 1342 N. Fairfax Ave. between Santa Monica and Sunset boulevards where it took 30 firefighters 18 minutes to knock down the fire, said Los Angeles Fire Department spokesman Nicholas Prange.
