Another way to play: Visit a local business

With the new coronavirus canceling events left and right and people being asked to work from home or stay away from large groups, local businesses are bracing for an economic hit. So maybe plan to visit your local pub or restaurant or retail shop this weekend and drop a few dollars if you have any to spare. Maybe skip the hug or handshake — we're voting for the bow and curtsy to come back into vogue — and follow all the normal precautions. Don't be afraid, but do be smart. And wash your hands. With soap.
