Patriots Point delays reopening

Patriots Point Naval & Maritime Museum, which had been scheduled to reopen today, will remain closed as a precaution against COVID-19 and because the museum did not receive the necessary approval from the S.C. Department of Commerce. Patriots Point is required to file an exemption request with the state to open while restrictions are in place. Executive Director Larry Murray said in a news release the museum will work with the state to set a new reopening date.
