Act Fast for Summer Crafting at the Renwick Gallery

Handi-hour, DC’s original crafting hour, is here for your summer memories. Grab a friend and relive your summer camp days with throwback arts and crafts. Make a bracelet with embroidery thread, a lanyard with plastic ties, or a popsicle stick bowl. Enjoy a refreshing adult beverage from ANXO cidery and light snacks. Space is limited. Must be 21+ and provide valid ID to participate.

​​​​​​After you craft, explore the Renwick's second floor permanent collection galleries after hours. Currently on view are more than 100 works in a range of mediafiber, ceramics, glass, metal, wood, and mixed mediathat push the boundaries of what we interpret the handmade to be in the twenty-first century.
