Anchor D Horseback — Great Divide Ride

The seven-day ride is one of the most popular offered by Anchor D. Following the Continental Divide between Alberta and B.C., riders hit the high mountain trails that go high above the timberline, past tumbling streams and through stands of virgin timber. Along the lower elevations, we use teams of draft horses and covered wagons to transport supplies to the different camps we stay in during the trip. By the time the riders get to the next camp, the kitchen tent is set up and a welcome cup of hot coffee is ready!

You can also support us by attending a virtual VIP event with Westaway Explorer-in-Residence Adam Shoalts on Wednesday November 17th at 6:30 p.m., just before the broadcast of our virtual Fellows Show. All proceeds raised from this event will go to support our mission of making Canada better known to Canadians and the world.
