Good evening,

Good evening,

There’s love in the air between Ontario Teachers’ and KKR.

After winning Spark Infrastructure with a $5.2 billion bid, the duo has been spotted together again by Street Talk. This time it’s at GreenCollar, a Sydney-based business that helps farmers sell carbon credits to companies.

KKR has been at GreenCollar for nearly two years and now its Canadian pension fund mate has also joined the register.

Another pension fund, the Dutch APG, closed a deal of its own today for a slice of equity in Ausgrid, with AustralianSuper’s blessing.

We’ve also got updates on the infrastructure auctions coming to a head in the next couple of days.

At the Elliott Green Power auction, ICG and First Sentier are in the final mix, while Axicom has Brookfield, OMERS and the likes sniffing around. And Morrison & Co is lining up its advisers ahead of VicRoads’ rego auction’s bids on Tuesday.

Outside of infrastructure deals, Perennial has picked up a stake in SME lender Lumi.

Happy reading,

Anthony Macdonald, Yolanda Redrup and Kanika Sood
