Revising Shakespeare: Now is the discontent of our winter.

In other words, it's mid-February, half the country is currently getting pummeled by one variety of winter weather or another, and it's freakin' cold out there.

To help you survive, we recently put together a dossier of seasonally appropriate advice and recommendations, from hearty recipes to "thicc, juicy" sweaters to some thoughts on the viability of hot tub sex.

In aggregate, they constitute our official Winter Survival Guide. Whether they will be of any use to you this late in the game, we cannot say. But at the very least, they'll make for good reading while you curl up by the fire with a dram in hand (perhaps our spirits editor's signature hot toddy — recipe below).
