Minnesota Governor Mark Dayton has announced Lt. Governor Tina Smith will be replacing Al Franken in the U.S. Senate.

Meteorologist Adam Lorch says the snow will continue through the morning hours across the region. Snow covered roads and slower traffic can be expected this morning.

Current hours are 8 a.m. to midnight, however the new hours will be 8 a.m. - 8 p.m. year round. 

The update provides the last bit of information the DNR needs for the financial assurance estimate on the project.
