Sentencing is set for next month for the man who untied two tourist boats sending them adrift in the Duluth harbor.

On the fourth day of Shannon Miller's discrimination case, UMD's athletic director finished his testimony explaining why he decided not to renew her contract as women's hockey coach, and assistant athletic director Karen Stromme took the stand. 

Duluth Police said Friday morning a 14-year-old boy who was last seen Thursday, March 8 had returned home safely. 

Minnesota authorities issued more citations for distracted driving in 2017, while citations for speeding and lack of seat belt use saw declines.
