Heavy overnight rainfall has caused flooding, forcing the closure of several highways in Northern Wisconsin.

Two police officers with the City of Ashland were justified in their use of force on October 23rd, 2017 when they shot a man they believed had a gun, according to a report released Monday by Eau Claire County District Attorney Gary King.

Heavy rains and washed out roads have caused multiple road closures around Douglas County, as well as the City of Superior. 

Eastbound Central Entrance at Mesaba Ave. will be reduced to a single lane of traffic, while the right turn lane to Mesaba as well as the right traffic lane will be closed.
