Carter Korpet accounted for 320 yards and five touchdowns on Thursday afternoon, leading Cleveland-Immanuel Lutheran to a 38-29 win over Cromwell-Wright in the MSHSL 9-Man state semifinals at U.S. Bank Stadium.

Parts of Fourth Street to re-open for the winter
Parts of Fourth Street in Duluth will re-open to traffic on Friday. Work done so far includes a new water and gas main between Sixth Avenue and Eighteenth Avenue East. Permanent paving is done between Sixth and Tenth Avenue East. A temporary pavement made to last through the winter is done between Tenth and Eighteenth Avenue East. Temporary lights have also been placed at some intersections. Crews will resume work in the spring as soon as weather allows. Full Story >>
Twin Ports, Minnesota see job reduction
Over 12,000 jobs were lost in Minnesota in October. The Minnesota Department of Employment and Economic Development says despite the job loss, the unemployment rate remains at four percent. Throughout the past month, the Twin Ports saw a job loss of 120 people The state has gained over 31,000 jobs throughout the past year, an increase of just over one percent. Full Story >>
