The ALBERTINA Museum is paying homage to Keith Haring (1958–1990), who would have turned 60 in 2018, with a comprehensive presentation of his oeuvre.
This exhibition will focus on the singular symbolic language that runs throughout Haring’s entire oeuvre like a golden thread.
In his subway pictures, paintings, drawings, and sculptures, Haring devoted himself to social justice and continual change. And the radiance of his oeuvre, with its massive impact on contemporaries as well as subsequent generations, has remained unbroken to this day.
