Summer baseball started in full swing on Thursday, May 30th, at Sanford Memorial Stadium! Over the last four days, the matchups consisted of the Sanford River Rats vs. the Leesburg Lightning, the Winter Park Diamond Dawgs vs. the DeLand Suns, and the Orlando Snappers vs. the Winter Garden Squeeze. What a great start to the season!

We remember Bubba Sangster🤍

The Florida Collegiate Summer League was saddened to hear about the passing of the three-year Florida Leaguer, Bubba Sangster, who passed away earlier this week. Prior to all of our Saturday games on June 1st, all of our teams stood for a moment of silence for our Florida League alum. Our thoughts and prayers are with the Sangster family at this time.

Florida League fans and supporters, we are still searching for families in our community who are willing to host our collegiate baseball players this summer! We have serval players who are registered to play this summer, but still do not have a place to stay yet.
