Happy Sunday!

The heat is on today! High humidity and complete sunshine will make for an oppressively hot Sunday. Temperatures will rise to near 100° with a heat index as high as 110° in some places. There is a heat advisory for South Texas from noon until 8PM. Please avoid working outdoors for long periods of time during these hours, make sure to stay hydrated, and wear light clothing.

Thankfully an approaching cold front will cool us down. However, rain chances also increase near sunset tonight, when scattered storms will develop along the front. Some of these storms will have the potential to produce gusty winds and heavy downpours. Please make sure to check back in with Your Weather Authority as the forecast evolves.

Thanks to the front, Monday will be much cooler, cloudier, and breezier with a high near 80°.
