OPTC Board Newsletter – November-December 2021 OPTC Friends, here below please find several updates on current and pending Club news:
Court #4 Fence Damage and other Fence Repairs
The damaged fencing along Court #4 has been replaced and repaired. Â We also replaced top bars along the north end of Courts 6 and 7 (as the bars were damaged in previous years).
New Post for New Divider Net
We have installed a new post to allow installation of a new Divider Net between Courts 5 & 6. This will allow for safer play for OPTC Season Pass Holders (when Junior Programs are taking place on Court 6).
Water Well Project – GREAT NEWS!!
The Well drilling and installation has begun! The Well Contractor conducted the drilling, and they reached the 55 gallons per minute flow that we need to irrigate our courts (300 feet down below ground-level)……GREAT NEWS!! There is still a lot of work to do (trench digging, plumbing, electrical, possible concrete work, etc.), and with supply chain and steel cost increases the overall project cost has increased by more than 25%. If you would like to contribute to this expense-saving project (to eliminate our annual $20,000+ water bill), please utilize the link below to contribute to this one-time project. Â
