Chinese telecoms giant Huawei has been in the news a lot lately. Some of it has to do with its excellent technological advances and products but there is also the spectre of US accusations of the company being a security threat. The US has warned Australian Prime Minister Malcolm Turnbull not to allow Huawei to supply equipment for any future 5G networks, indicating that there are security risks involved.
