Surround yourself with orchids in central London

Well this sounds bloomin' marvellous: hundreds of orchids go on display in central London this month, in a colourful celebration of the exotic houseplant. The RHS Orchid Show takes over RHS Lindley Hall in Westminster for three days of displays, talks, workshops and shopping, all themed on the species. Wander among impressive orchid displays, and meet experts, including the Orchid Society of Great Britain.

Like what you see? Growers from all over the UK sell orchids at the show, so you can take a piece of the action home with you. Chat to the experts for tips on caring for your beautiful new housemate, and catch talks on topics including the best orchids to grow at home, and the orchids of Myanmar. Definitely sensing a theme here...

If that all sounds like thirsty work, rest assured that the Houseplant café will be open serving up drinks and refreshments throughout the show. It's worth knowing that the event will be moved onto pastures new for 2025, so if you want to surround yourself with orchids in central London, don't miss this opportunity.

The RHS Orchid Show takes place Friday 15-Sunday 17 March 2024 at RHS Lindley Hall, Westminster. RHS Members go free, pre-booking required.
