Today, Oregon lawmakers are returning to Salem for a one-day special legislative session.

Governor Kate Brown called this session to provide urgent relief for Oregonians as we work to get through what are hopefully the final stages of the COVID-19 pandemic.

We're proud to see that our Oregon Democratic leaders are taking action to respond to this unprecedented crisis, and are working today to bring much-needed relief to Oregonians who have made incredible sacrifices and faced tremendous hardships over the past year.

Help is on the way, and we're finding hope from the promising images of vaccines now being administered in Oregon and across the country.

But we still need to work together to do everything we can to protect one another and get through this pandemic.

The road ahead will be difficult, but we're thankful that our elected Democrats are dedicated to fighting for Oregonians.
