First, Oregon Republicans walked off the job in 2020, taking a taxpayer-funded vacation to shut down the Legislature and block Oregon from taking meaningful action on climate.

Then, Governor Kate Brown took bold action in response last March to protect our environment and act on climate, signing an executive order to cut climate pollution and transition Oregon to a clean energy economy.

Now, Oregon Democrats just passed one of the most ambitious bills in the country to tackle greenhouse gas emissions from our electricity supply.

House Bill 2021, which passed through the Oregon Legislature in June without a single Republican vote, will require Oregon's largest utilities to eliminate all carbon emissions from their electricity supply by 2040.

Oregon Democrats are leading the way and taking action on climate, despite efforts by Oregon Republicans to block progress. Together, we can do everything we can to keep electing Oregon Democrats who get the job done. Chip in $10, $25, $50, or whatever you can today.
