2021 Heritage Series Chardonnay

Our 2021 Heritage Series Chardonnay is the first vintage of this wine that was made from start to finish by winemaker and viticulturist Matías Kúsulas! The Chardonnay block in our estate vineyard that is used for this reserve level Chardonnay has 25+ year old vines that produce dense, concentrated clusters that lend the complexity and robust flavors we see every year in this wine.

Fermented and aged in new and neutral oak barrels, this Chardonnay has just enough oak presence to lend structure and balance without overpowering the more delicate floral and citrus aromas and flavors. The takeaways: A food-loving, complex wine with great texture, acidity, energy, and a saline finish.

We are participating in Central WA Wineries Club Share Weekend and we invite you to come experience new Central WA wineries – as a club member. This event is Friday and Saturday, August 5 & 6, in celebration of “WAugust”, aka Washington Wine Month. If you are a club member at Desert Wind Winery, come in and pick up your Club Share Weekend Pass. This will be a fun weekend and an amazing opportunity to experience so many fantastic WA wines.
