The Big Weekend of Books is almost here! |
|
Our much-loved annual audio writers' festival will take place on June 15 and 16, and the full schedule has just been announced. This year, some of Australia's finest writers and a host of bestselling international talents will join our ABC presenters to talk about all things literary. Tim Winton, Candice Fox and Tony Birch will discuss their very varied writing processes, while Richard Osman (Thursday Murder Club), Dervla McTiernan (The Ruin), Amos Towles (A Gentleman in Moscow) and Paul Murray (The Bee Sting) share their experiences of being in the literary spotlight. And don't miss the iconic Stephanie Alexander as she reflects on her years of writing, talking and serving up all things food. Read more about the line up here or click on the final schedule to find out what time your favourite authors will be speaking. For a sneak preview, listen to BWOB curator Michaela Kalowski and author Candice Fox tell ABC RN Breakfast's Patricia Karvelas what's in store for listeners across the weekend. So, don't forget to mark your diaries for Saturday and Sunday June 15 and 16, from 10am to 5pm both days. Enjoy getting ABC RN in your inbox? Invite your friends to sign up too! |
