The whole idea behind developing EQ8 was to make it EASY to use!
Here are some of our favorite features:

Enhanced User Interface: While many of the changes to EQ8 are geared toward beginners, even our advanced users have been thrilled with the new interface. Features that used to be hidden within menus are now pulled to the forefront. We’ve gotten emails from some customers who are excited about a *new* feature. Ironically, that feature was not new at all. It has been in EQ since EQ6 but was something they never knew existed until now! Making all of these options more accessible opens a lot of doors for you as a designer.

New Patchmaker Tools: Create stars, posies, and quilting stencils with simple-to-use controls. No drawing involved! These new applique tools make creating these shapes easy and fun! These new tools will be available when you choose the Shapes tool on an applique block or motif (StencilMaker only available for Motifs).

Hide Patch Outlines in Quilt: In EQ8, we’ve added a button on the main toolbar so you can quickly view your quilt with the patch lines turned off! This makes your quilt come to life with a click of the mouse! You could do this in previous versions too, but many of you may not have known because it was hidden in a menu. Now that the tool has been added, it’s become one of the hottest updates to EQ8!
