At Cathay, we’re committed to adopting sustainable practices that safeguard the future of our planet, and we’re proud to be ramping up our role in the fight against climate change. 

We’re dedicated to net-zero carbon emissions by 2050, and we were one of the first airlines in Asia to set this target.  We are actively cutting back on our emissions with new technology and aircraft, and in April we launched our corporate Sustainable Aviation Fuel programme – the first major programme of its kind in Asia – which is spearheading the industry’s transition to low-carbon fuel.
