Dear John,
Tomorrow is the first day of May and reminds me of the many memories growing up celebrating Our Lady during May.
As the youngest of seven kids, I had the great honor of laying the tiny flower crown on our statue of the Blessed Mother Mary each Friday in May. We sang songs and prayed the rosary together. I would put my prettiest dress on and wear a veil because my family entertained my childhood wishes of being fancy whenever I had the chance.
