Coming off of two virtually travel-less years, 2022 was a big one. There were some trials and tribulations at the offset as we collectively learned to navigate the world responsibly together, but what ultimately came of it was a newfound sense of appreciation for travel that — at least by our estimate — will long outlive the pandemic. If you've been following along, then you already know that we went a lot of places this year. Like, a lot. From Turkey, Israel, Nepal and India, to Swedish Lapland, Slovenia, Rwanda, Antarctica and all over the continental U.S., our correspondents spent the last almost-365 days traveling the globe so that your travel-inspo cup never ran dry. It is our sincerest hope that the resulting stories we told did inspire you. So, with that said, here are a few of those stories from the past year. And who knows? Maybe they'll be of use when it's time to book your first big trip of 2023. Happy travels. |
