Let Inspiration Flourish

Watch Exhibition Road become a giant canvas, as artists create large-scale murals inspired by cutting-edge research involving Imperial College London scientists, from prosthetics to research into sustainable plastics. Speaking of sustainability, you're invited to consider how you can create a greener tomorrow in a seed-themed workshop. Further develop your vision for your future at Happy City, where urban planning meets paper crafts.

Get Food For Thought

What might the fridge of tomorrow contain? Find out at the Future Food Zone, where you can nourish your mind with a hearty spread of food-themed demos, talks and workshops. Join the food waste revolution with a Food Waste Warriors workshop and sample dishes whipped up before your eyes by chefs and scientists at Future Food Live.

Bring The Kids

Got little ones in tow? There's plenty of child-friendly fun to get stuck into, with a dedicated Family Fun Zone located in Prince's Garden. Here you'll find all sorts of activities for the under-12s, from making music and building models, to meeting minibeasts. Elsewhere look out for Imperial College London's Family Space Show, for any wannabe astronauts.

(Or Leave Them At Home!)

Who says creative play is just for kids? Not The Great Exhibition Road Festival's Creative Science Zone, that's for sure! Head to this adults-only area to make mosaic self-portraits, explore the science of conserving art, and unleash your inner child at the infectious arcade. More of an auditory learner? Register for a Flourishing Futures talk on psychedelics, robotics, or reclaiming rivers.

Enjoy The Show

Relax in between all that exploring by taking in a performance or two at the main stage. Hosted by Portobello Radio, the line up features world class acts from Royal Albert Hall and Royal College of Music, spanning swing, blues, jazz, funk, RnB, rock and Motown. There's also a family stage for smaller-scale, child-friendly entertainment.
