Every summer, a host of iconic London institutions join forces for a weekend chock-full of of workshops, talks, performances and installations for all ages that are all about celebrating science and the arts. And the best bit? It's totally free to attend!
The Great Exhibition Road Festival 2024 takes place on and around — surprise, surprise — Exhibition Road in South Kensington, 15-16 June. This year's theme is Flourish, offering ample opportunities to learn how science and the arts help individuals, communities and nature thrive. Your voyage of discovery is led by Imperial College London, the Natural History Museum, Royal College of Music, Science Museum, V&A, Royal Albert Hall and many more world-renowned organisations that call this corner of London home.

Bring The Kids Got little ones in tow? There's plenty of child-friendly fun to get stuck into, with a dedicated Family Fun Zone located in Prince's Garden. Here you'll find all sorts of activities for the under-12s, from making music and building models, to meeting minibeasts. Hosted by Portobello Radio, the line up features world class acts from Royal Albert Hall and Royal College of Music, spanning swing, blues, jazz, funk, RnB, rock and Motown.
