The heatwave in the states has left me sweltering this past week, and it’s still hard to resign myself to this new warmed-up world we live in, having grown up in a house without air conditioning! But for those of you who enjoy the unrelenting heat, our latest feature for It’s Still a Big World, will take you somewhere sunny.

Cassandra Brooklyn thinks we Americans are missing out by not exploring the Red Sea area of Egypt. It has incredible diving, water sports, food, hotels, and even some ancient attractions. Sure, it’s not the pyramids or the Luxor Temple, but it’s well worth checking out if you have time and like being somewhere on the toastier side.
