Although it is starting to feel as if the warmer weather is on its way, there's still a few weeks left yet to get in some winter cooking. Cold-weather food is all about making us feel good, both as cooks and eaters. This winter our contributing and guest chefs have provided a wonderful assortment of seasonal dishes that have been devoured, so to speak, by our readers. From soups to stews to meatballs to a delicious lemon tart, we've feasted on a bounty of recipes that are all about eating well. So what have been the most popular dishes of autumn-winter 2024? Our contributing chef Lennox Hastie always offers beautiful and unusual recipes and this week is no different. There are many interesting questions posed by The Australian's Milanda Rout in her piece published this week on travelling to Qatar, including how western women should feel about their Middle Eastern sisters covering up while they wear less modest clothing.
