OUT TODAY: April's issue of
The Travel Club!

The 12th issue of The Travel Club is out today! We can't quite believe a whole year has passed since we launched this digital magazine for those who are serious about travel – a year that seems to have gone in a flash while at the same time dragging on forever.

Over the last 12 months the e-zine has gone from strength to strength, with stories and contributions from far and wide – just take a look at this bumper issue! – and we’ve continued to build the list of exclusive membership benefits and discounts too (many of which will come in handy as the world begins to open up). So if you haven't yet signed up, now is the time to do so!

Featuring this month:

  • Exploring Iraqi Kurdistan as a solo female traveller
  • Why taking an adventurous trip with children in tow is easier than you think
  • How camera trapping is helping both locals and wildlife in Tanzania
  • Getting off the tourist trail in eastern Turkey
  • Stories from a travel photographer: Pascal Mannaerts

PLUS bring the flavours of your travels to your kitchen with Feast Box, more exclusive member benefits from our friends at Byway and Natural Britain, and a sneak preview of our new April books: Tanked Up and A Connemara Journey

BOOK NOW: an evening with Hilary Bradt in conversation with Jane Badger

To celebrate the publication of A Connemara Journey, we're inviting you to an evening on Zoom with author and company founder Hilary Bradt!

Along with equine literature expert Jane Badger, Hilary is set to chat about the highs and lows of her epic horseback journey down the west coast of Ireland in the 1980s and the bond she built with her two Connemara ponies, Mollie and Peggy.

Join us on 28 April at 6pm (GMT). The event will begin with a short photo slideshow of Hilary's ride highlights, followed by an interview with Jane and a live Q&A with the audience.

Tickets are £5, with an option to get a copy of A Connemara Journey signed by Hilary. The talk is free to Travel Club members – another reason to sign up today!
