Truck driver charged with OVI after crashing into car: Westlake Police Blotter

Officers at 10:20 a.m. on Sept. 1 responded to a crash on Crocker Road in which a large box truck slammed into the rear of a Ford Focus. The smaller vehicle appeared to have been pushed about 100 feet, according to a police report.

Merchandise was stolen at about 4 a.m. Aug. 22 from Engle Smoke Shop on Engle Road. Also, a Brook Park man was arrested Aug. 26 after he punched and dented another driver’s car during a road-rage incident.
