New Pages Course With Special Discount Pages: Mastering Your Mac’s Word Processing App is the second edition of my Pages course. I've updated everything using the most recent version of Pages. The new edition is not at Udemy, like the old course, but at my new MacMost Courses website that I launched last year.
The course teaches you everything you need to know to use Pages as both a word processor and page layout tool. This course includes more than 60 lessons and 4 hours of video instruction. You’ll learn about fonts, styles, formatting, special characters, headers, footers and footnotes. There are also tutorials on adding graphic elements, table of contents, exporting, collaboration and editing, templates and much more.
Note that this is the second edition of the course. So like the second edition of a computer book, you probably don't need to take this course if you have already been through the first edition.
Use the coupon code
ernest to get
40% off the course until February 28. So in the U.S. where the course price is $39.95, you will get it for only $23.97. Just make sure the coupon code is applied before checking out.
You can go to the
course page to check out the table of contents and view sample lessons.
3 Ways To Automate Keystroke Sequences On Your Mac If you need to repeat a specific set of keyboard commands or movements often, you can reduce the sequence to a single action. One method is to use Automator Watch Me Do actions, which record key presses and allow you to repeat them. You can also write a script in Automator to press keys. A third method involves using the Mac Accessibility Keyboard to record and play back the sequence.

Subscribe at iTunes... Quick Tip: Use Command+Down Arrow To Open Files In the Finder, the menu bar shows Command+O to open a file, but Command+down arrow works just as well. It will open the selected file, and also open the selected folder in the Finder and navigate down into it. The benefit is that Command+up arrow will navigate up a level too, so Command and the up and down arrows work nicely together. The exception is in column view where the left and right arrows are used to move into and out of folders.
MacMost Recommendations I'm often asked about the software and gadgets I use to produce the MacMost videos and in my work as a developer. So I've compiled a list of the products I use and recommend.
