Unemployment taxes won't go up for most S.C. employers

Unemployment insurance tax rates for 86.3% of S.C. employers will remain unchanged or decrease for 2021, and there will be no flat rate tax increases for employers, the S.C. Department of Employment and Workforce announced today.

S.C. tourism revenues down $5.2 billion

South Carolina’s tourism revenues have dropped by $5.2 billion since February, a 43% decrease year-over-year, according to data from Tourism Economics, a global tourism research and consulting company.
