Every few years I like to take a look at my bucket list and give it a good deep cleaning. Maybe there are some locations I've decided are a lower priority or some I've decided to push up before they get too touristy.

But my favorite thing to do is to add new places to my list, especially ones that are often overlooked. Whether they're just smaller cities like Ghent or they're located in a less traveled country like North Macedonia, these underrated destinations are sure to make your list.

I can't think of a better way to celebrate the start of a long weekend (for us Americans, at least!) than with a dish made with a whole lot of beer.
