Since May 2024, I have been following a diet based largely on Dr. McDougall’s dietary principles. Truth be told, I still occasionally include small amounts of animal products (mainly eggs and fish) about once a week, and at times I experience occasional setbacks. However, the majority of my journey has been surprisingly smooth, and I’ve found it incredibly rewarding to explore new spices and recipes that I had never encountered before. Struggling with my weight has been a lifelong challenge, but I particularly struggled after moving to Berlin in late 2019, compounded by the pandemic, which had a significant negative impact on both my health and weight. |
