| The Australia Day 2024 honours have been awarded to pharmacists Dr Jennifer Gowan of Victoria, Desmond Lum from New South Wales, and Pharmacy Guild’s Senior Media Advisor Peter Waterman from the Australian Capital Territory.
Guild National President Trent Twomey congratulated this year’s award recipients and honoured all community pharmacists this Australia Day.
“This year’s award winners have shown dedication not just in the pharmacy profession but in the community as a whole,” Twomey said.
“I’d like to extend that acknowledgement to all our community pharmacists, their assistants and employees, many of whom are working on this Australia Day.
“Community pharmacists are here to serve all Australians,” Twomey concluded.
