| The Tasmanian Pharmacist of the Year Awards for 2024 were unveiled during the Pharmaceutical Society of Australia (PSA) Annual Therapeutic Update VIC/TAS event held in Hobart over the weekend.
The ceremony, sponsored by Symbion, brought together professionals from the pharmaceutical field to celebrate the remarkable contributions of Tasmanian pharmacists.
Among the honorees were three pharmacists whose dedication and expertise stood out in their respective categories.
Kristina Fox, from Complete Care Pharmacy Rosny Park, was awarded the prestigious title of Tasmanian Pharmacist of the Year, recognising her exceptional commitment to the profession.
Ian Huett, known for his dedication at Deloraine Amcal and Guardian Pharmacies, received the Lifetime Achievement Award, acknowledging his significant and enduring impact on the field of pharmacy over the years.
In the category of Early Career Pharmacist of the Year, Monique Licht, also from Complete Care Pharmacy Rosny Park, was awarded for her promising start and contributions to the field.
