Victoria is the latest jurisdiction to announce a month-long free influenza vaccination program.
Launching the flu vaccination blitz this morning, State Health Minister, Martin Foley, said that the Government will be funding community pharmacies and GP clinics across the State to administer the shot from tomorrow until the end of June.
As is the case with campaigns in Queensland, South Australian, NSW and Western Australia, the patients, aged five to 64 years, who are not eligible for flu vaccines through the National Immunisation Program will be able to access the State-subsidised jabs.
