A friendly reminder! We are already reading applications for PDF International Fellows and for our workshop facilitators. Applications for both close on April 18th, so get them in as soon as you can!
Call for Workshop Facilitators:
Our new format features keynote speakers with connected workshops in the afternoon. To make these workshops engaging, we are putting out a call for trained facilitators to run these sessions. As a keynote workshop facilitator, you would be responsible for helping to structure the goals, process, and execution of the workshop. In return, you would receive a free ticket to PDF, compensation, and your bio listed in our program. We read applications as they come in, so apply as soon as you can but no later than April 18th!
PDF International Fellowship Applications:
The civic tech community spans the whole globe. As great as watching a livestream is, actually coming to PDF brings the full experience of networking, collaborating, and bonding. We understand flights from certain parts of the world may inhibit many from participating in person. This year we are offering the PDF International Fellowship for 10 civic tech enthusiasts who live in countries outside of the United States who want to come to PDF. If you are someone who is devoted to the use of tech for the public good, this could be for you--especially if you have never been to PDF! Fellowships include a round-trip economy fare ticket and 2 nights hotel, plus a conference attendee pass, thanks to the generous support of Facebook. The deadline is approaching so apply here by April 18th!
