Good evening,

Good evening,

It feels like the public-to-private floodgates are set to open.

After bemoaning private equity’s inaction during previous market sell-offs, it feels to Street Talk like the pinstripes are finally ready to strike at the small and mid cap end of the market.

Already this year, we’ve seen Virtus Health, Genex Power and Infomedia attract private equity interest, while Ramsay Health Care and Brambles dominated their attention in large caps.

Street Talk looks at who bankers are tipping could get swept up in the coming month or two, should conditions remain favourable.

Elsewhere, we reveal Atlas Arteria’s interest in a big US acquisition, and a private equity buyout for auction business Pickles.

Happy reading,
